Boat & yacht catering Auckland
Food on a boat has a short list of requirements. It can't need reheating, it can't need a knife and fork, it can't fall apart in a chilly bin, and it can't leave a galley full of dishes. Vietnamese fresh rolls tick all four, which is why they end up on more Auckland boats than you'd expect.
Why it works on the water
Fresh rolls are served cold by design — there's no quality drop between the kitchen and four hours later in a chilly bin. They're eaten by hand, standing up, on a moving deck, which is more than you can say for a carvery. Each one is wrapped and separate, so nothing turns into a tray of mixed everything when the swell picks up.
The mini bowls work the same way: individual, lidded, no serving spoons, no sharing dish sliding off the table.
Picking up on the way
Pickup is free from Sylvia Park, St Lukes or Botany. Botany is the easy one for Half Moon Bay and Pine Harbour; St Lukes suits a Westhaven departure. Order the night before, collect on your way down, straight into the chilly bin.
We also deliver within 12km of each store at approximately $2 per kilometre, $20 minimum, if you'd rather it met you there.
Ordering
Each box feeds 8–10 and costs $130 to $150. The Mini Fresh Rolls box is 45 rolls, which is the one most charter groups land on. Order by 7pm the day before. For larger charters or a standing arrangement, email catering@rolld.nz.
