Catering for 100+ people Auckland
Past a hundred people, don't order this off a web page. Email catering@rolld.nz and we'll build it with you. Too much can go wrong with a guessed box count, and a hundred people who ran out of food remember it.
That said, here's the shape of it so you can budget before you call.
The maths
Each box feeds 8–10 people, $130 to $150.
- 120 people — 12 to 15 boxes, roughly $1,600 to $2,100
- 200 people — 20 to 25 boxes, roughly $2,600 to $3,500
- 300 people — 30 to 38 boxes, roughly $3,900 to $5,300
The per-head cost holds at $13.00 to $18.75 regardless of size.
What changes at this scale
Three things.
Lead time. The 7pm-day-before rule is for normal orders. For 150-plus we want several days, and for a weekend event we want to know by midweek. A large order may be split across Sylvia Park, St Lukes and Botany, which takes coordinating.
Serving points. One table does not work. Plan on one serving station per sixty to eighty people, each with the full mix of boxes rather than one station per food type.
Staggered delivery. If your event runs over three hours, take half the order at the start and half an hour and a half in. Fresh rolls hold well but they're better in the first two hours, and a second delivery keeps the table looking like it was just set.
Dietary
Vegetarian is available on every box, vegan and gluten friendly on three, and chicken and duck come from halal suppliers with pork and beef omitted on request — our kitchen isn't halal certified. Give us the breakdown and we'll build and label dedicated boxes.
