Halal Catering Auckland
Roll'd catering works for halal groups. Our chicken and duck come from halal suppliers, and we carry no pork and no beef in any box we build for you on request.
Being precise about what that means: our kitchen is not halal certified. The proteins are halal-sourced and the pork and beef items are left out, which is enough for most groups and not enough for some. If your group needs certification rather than sourcing, we'd rather tell you now than have you find out later.
What a halal box looks like
Chicken, duck, prawn and tofu across every format. In practice that means:
- Fresh rolls — BBQ chicken, lemongrass chilli chicken, poached chicken and avo, tofu, lime crusted fish, garlic prawn, duck
- Mini bánh mì — BBQ chicken, lemongrass chilli chicken, tofu
- Mini bowls — bún, gỏi and cơm in chicken, prawn and tofu
- Bao — BBQ chicken, lemongrass chilli chicken, prawn, tofu
What comes out is the roast pork, the roast pork and crackling, and the lemongrass beef. Everything else stays.
All eight boxes can be built this way, including the Best-Sellers' box, so a halal group gets the same spread as everyone else rather than a reduced version.
Mixed groups
If only part of the group needs halal, order one halal box alongside a standard one and keep them labelled. Each box feeds 8–10. We'll mark them clearly on delivery if you ask.
How to order
Say "halal" in the order notes. Each box is $130 to $150 and feeds 8–10, which is $13.00 to $18.75 a head. Order by 7pm the day before. Delivery is approximately $2 per kilometre with a $20 minimum, within 12km of your store. For anything bespoke, email catering@rolld.nz.
